Uncover leads on LEGO Universe’s design
You’re tuned in to the LEGO Universe News Network, the source for inside scoops on the first massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) being co-created by LEGO fans for LEGO fans!

This edition’s spotlight shines on our game designers at the NetDevil studio. Forwarding FUN is foremost in their field, because LEGO Universe will, after all, be a world to play in! Today’s update is also chockfull of tasty tidbits and hints about the game, so read carefully for clues about your ever-expanding LEGO Universe.

Behind the scenes TRIPLE feature!

You read it right…this month the LEGO Universe News Network is forking over two behind the scenes features.

First off, find insider information from our design director, Brian Booker. He divulges details on everything from the design process to the gameplay-- including a glimpse of LEGO Universe’s epic storyline.

Next, LEGO Universe art director Phillip Atencio returns to deliver on a previous promise to review some of your astonishing artwork.

Finally, the LEGO Universe News Network bangs out bonus content in which we pick Brian’s brain about a popular forum topic: the game’s currency. NinjaRoy has posted to the forum speculating that studs will be the game’s currency. Find out if he’s right!

Minigame madness

Last month’s quick poll participants voted for their minifig’s favorite mushrooms, and “color cone” came away with a clear victory. Regardless of why you voters want that fungus among us, you can bet your opinions are influencing the layout of LEGO Universe.

Tally a vote for your favorite minigame in this update’s quick poll, but declare your desires carefully-- Brian and his team devise every game, and they’ll be scrutinizing the scores.

In one month you LEGO Universe fanatics have made a mountain of artwork in your new gallery-- plus everyone knows you’ve got the most visual flare! So in addition to Philip’s reviews of your work, this update includes a new LEGO Universe gallery category that’s so hot it’s like lava. Grab your graphics tools and develop your style by submitting a piece showing off your own minigame design!
